Haiku No. 1
As expected, the poems are outstanding plus, in this collection, they involve the full gamut of emotions. Reading each poem as static text — focusing only on it at the center of the page — works well to emulate the standard experience, and when allowing the eyes to take in the moving text in other languages — which eventually surround the version in English — the original evoked emotion rises to flood level. And the astutely-chosen music weaves everything together into a whole lived moment. For sure, a new way of publishing haiku — pioneering.
